Rockford, IL – Leading Edge Hydraulics, an industry leader in fluid conveyance systems is proud to announce winning the JCB Inc. 2013 Top Supplier Quality Performance Award. LEH was also one of only four nominees for top overall supplier of the year as well.
The annual conference was attended by JCB’s key suppliers and recognized those that particularly excelled during the year. Presenting the award was JCB's Onkar Singh Sunar, Group Director, Purchasing. On Hand to receive the award for LEH was Russ Dennis Jr VP/CTO and John Dennis VP/GM.
LEH and JCB continue to forge a strong working relationship in the four key supplier areas of quality, cost, innovation, and delivery. Russ Dennis Jr. commented “it is always rewarding for our people to be recognized for their hard work in producing quality products on a highly consistent basis. Rockford, IL – Leading Edge Hydraulics was one of only six companies that were recognized in the John Deere Cost Reduction Opportunities Process (JD CROP). JD CROP, a supplier suggestion process, is part of Deere & Company’s Achieving Excellence program which has brought significant value to John Deere and its customers.
The Rockford, IL based company received the honor for providing cost-reduction ideas of outstanding quality, and for demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement. Company employees accepted the recognition during formal ceremonies held on February 19th, 2008 in Davenport, Iowa.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
